At Equestrian Storage Solutions......we pride ourselves in constructing quality, durable and functional custom tack trunks and organizational units that meet the high standards of the professional equestrian market. With extensive equestrian backgrounds in the hunter/jumper and vaulting worlds combined with years of carpentry experience, we know how to design and build solutions that last. Previously our trunks have only been available through local tack shops in Santa Cruz County, California. With recent expansion of our facility to a location in Austin, Texas, we are making an internet debut by offering our trunks for nation-wide sales. Members of the equestrian community will now be able to receive our products manufacturer direct, from our barn to yours. Our creative minds are constantly working to improve on already established designs while keeping with a traditional looking tack trunk. We are able to accomplish this by letting the customer be integral in all aspects of the creation of their new unit, including choice of woods and even dimensions if needed. Of course we have standard options at a standard price, but please do take the time to choose the options and wood that best fits your needs and desires. From a simple Oak trunk, to genuine Mahogany, let us create the solution for your storage problem.
Quality CraftsmanshipOur trunks are constructed of only the finest hand selected materials. The Oak trunks are made from 1/2” plywood with 3/4” solid oak hardwood trim. The Red Mahogany and Walnut color trunks are made from a 1/2” mahogany plywood with 3/4” solid pine trim. (Trim on Red Mahogany color trunks can be upgraded to solid mahogany from pine.) All joints are stapled, glued and biscuited for maximum strength and durability. After construction each item receives two coats of stain followed by 3 coats of a polyurethane coating. Each trunk has numerous one-on-one hours put into it by both our assembly crew and our finishing crew.
